How we collect, use and protect your information.

When you create an account, we collect your email address and password (stored securely via Clerk authentication). We do not store passwords in plain text.
We may collect information about how you use the Service, including which tools you use and general usage patterns, to improve the product.
Any project details, calculations or notes you enter are stored in your browser's local storage and optionally backed up to your account. This data is yours and is not shared with third parties.
If you ask us to email you a calculator result, we use your email address to send that one email, and keep a hashed copy of it for a day to prevent abuse. If you also tick the box for follow-up emails, we store your email address and the calculator you used so we can send three emails over the next ten days. We do this on the basis of your consent, which you can withdraw at any time with the unsubscribe link in each email; unsubscribing deletes your address from that list. Otherwise we delete it 90 days after the last follow-up.
Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy. We do not store your card details. Lemon Squeezy's privacy policy applies to payment processing.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your data to serve advertising.
We use essential cookies required for authentication (via Clerk) and session management. We do not use advertising cookies. We measure site usage with Plausible Analytics, which does not use cookies or collect personal data. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though this may affect authentication functionality.
We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. Project data stored in local storage remains on your device and is controlled entirely by you. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal information within 30 days.

We use industry-standard security practices including HTTPS encryption, secure authentication via Clerk, and no storage of sensitive payment data. However, no internet transmission is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We may update this Privacy Policy. Material changes will be notified by email or prominent notice on the Service.
